Methodological Advancements and Improvements, including controversies and new developments

The IBiS group have been working towards exploiting the use of isotopes in various forms in biogenic silica in global biogeochemical cycle research since the inception of IBiS in 2006. Technique enhancement has been at the heart of the group, and significant developments have been accomplished. In this session we are keen to have contributions on the advancements and improvements in methods and approaches, both the conventional isotopes (Si, O, and included C, N) but also the non-traditional isotopes.
